THE FOUNDER
James Napierala
Born in Toledo, Ohio, James Napierala was the son of a carpenter. While working at his family's furniture shop, James was inspired by a smooth-talking salesman with a nice suit and fancy car. After dropping out of college, James landed a sales job for a printing company. He mastered the art of cold calling and learned door-to-door sales. Opportunity led James to the Metro Detroit area, where he built a printing and marketing empire. Today, QFS Printing does business with global icons and major brands, from Dr. Mike to the United States Marines.

AN OPPORTUNITY ARISES
James Napierala sees an opportunity when the form printing company he works for turns down smaller clients.
1971
QFS IS BORN
Determined to make something of himself, James starts doing business with the rejected clients under the name Quality Form Services.
1972
JAMES GETS CANNED
QFS quickly surpasses James's employer in sales and he is asked to leave the company.
1974
BUSINESS IS BOOMING
Form printing is in demand and QFS does over $1M in sales.
1978
A NEW IDENTITY IS FORMED
QFS rebrands to QFS Printing and starts selling promotional products.
1981
QFS PRINTING BECOMES A HOUSEHOLD NAME
We do business with the Democratic Party, and like Monica Lewinsky, QFS Printing quickly becomes a household name.
1992
WE BREAK THE INTERNET!
QFS Printing launches their first e-commerce website and begin offering digital services.
2005

We expand operations, grow our team, and become recognized as America’s printing plug.
